Step inside Karla's Cottage and you will immediately feel at home. The property has recently undergone a complete renovation, head to toe, and the layout is ideal for all of your vacation needs. The kitchen, complete with ceramic tiled countertops and stainless steel appliances, opens to the living room with vaulted ceilings, large windows, and a wood burning stove. It's the perfect place to entertain your friends or family after a long day of skiing, biking, or touring the town. On those warm summer days, step right outside to the gorgeous landscaped yard and relax with a book or fire up the grill. It's the ideal place to simply 'be' in Crested Butte!
A nonrefundable $250 Dog fee is required if you bring your furry friend. We will allow a 2nd dog for an additional $50. You must notify us in advance.

Karla's cottage was cozy and quaint for this bride and groom. We were able to store all of our wedding decor in the small garage while having our own space and a place for our furry friend to feel comfortable. The groom had his skills tested with the wood burning stove (as he refused to turn on the heaters). We couldn't have been more happy to lodge at Karla's cottage for our wedding.

Great fun and ideal property especially for pets with the closed in yard. The property is excellent and the proximity to town is ideal. We have been to Crested Butte many times in the 1980-90's mostly staying in condos up on the mountain. This was our first experience staying in the town and it really enhanced our enjoyment.

We loved Karla's Cottage. The location is ideal, the town bus stopped about 30 feet from the front door. The owner's rehab and attention to detail in design, decoration and outfitting the house are superb. This is a fantastic property for a family vacation.

The property was very well located and had great amenities. Backyard was amazing. Fenced backyard is not always a given in Crested Butte and was great, since we stayed with dogs. We had a fabulous time and would certainly stay again.
The upstairs bathroom layout wasn't properly advertised. It would be very difficult to stay in the house with a second couple or not immediate family. We were a single couple staying in the house, so it wasn't an issue. Living room furniture shown in photographs were different than in the property.
MANAGER RESPONSE: Karlin, thank you for your thoughtful feedback. We plan to go over to the home this week to get additional pictures of the new living room furniture and open layout of the upstairs master suite. We hope to hear from you when planning your future visits to Crested Butte!
